Tracy Anderson Leggings for Edition 01

Aug 6, 2012

How adorbs are these leggings?  Granted they cost a pretty penny ($125 bucks), but Tracy is offering 25% off.  Still debating (read: rationalizing in my brain why I "need" $125 leggings), but how awesome is it that they are designed for each Metamorphosis body type?!

Any TAM'ers out there who have a pair?  If so I'd love to hear your thoughts (read: justification I shouldn't pass them up).

Happy Shopping :)

The Tracy Anderson Leggings Collection for Edition01 takes inspiration from Tracy’s Metamorphosis Workout Program. Each of the four different leggings styles is designed for a unique body shape, providing optimal support, comfort and confidence for every woman, from workout to out-and-about.

Abcentric leggings: Best for Whittling Your Waist. These leggings have a strong band to hold in the lower stomach and a slightly higher rise than other TAM leggings. Capri length. Unlined. Slip on.
Omnicentric leggings: Best for All-Over Control. The booty short style rise keeps your legs, hips, and butt looking and feeling trim. Elastic mesh paneling at the thigh and waist and knee. Capri length. Unlined. Slip on.
Glutecentric leggings: Best for Keeping Your Butt Looking Great. These leggings are the best for lifting your butt and keeping it looking great. Two elastic sections sewn together and a rainbow shaped arch in the back give your butt a needed lift and support for an overall flattering and slimming effect. Mesh paneling at and below the knee. Full length. Unlined. Slip on.
Hipcentric leggings: Best for Slimming Your Outer Thighs. These leggings have a hidden double layer on the inside and holds in outer thighs, which create a desired slimming effect. Ankle length cuffs further elongate the appearance of your legs. Patterned inserts on inside of the knees. Full length. Unlined. Slip on.

  1. ooh, this is a great post. I'd read about the leggings but hadn't seen the details of what each offer. your post is fab because even tho I am abcentric, I would never have wanted a high waisted legging. the others look great. lemme know if you get them and what you think.

    1. Dilemma, right? And for the life of me I cannot figure out what model is wearing which legging - must research further. I'll keep you posted for sure!

  2. I really wanted to love these, but I got them and not so much. I bought the omnicentric in a small since I'm a size 2-4. They are not very elastic, crotch slouches and the waistband falls when bending down almost showing butt crack, ugh. I didn't think they were very flattering, but maybe they are just running big. I also caught my ring on the mesh part near the knees and ripped a small hole in them on the first day. I think I'm sticking with Lululemon...

    1. Oy Vey, it's hard enough finding good workout gear, then to have so many negatives - no bueno. On a side note, I adore Lululemon too!
