Asher Is, FOUR

The littlest Piper was lucky enough to celebrate his special day this year, thrice:

At school with treat bags of mini brownies, shark bath toys, and the most charming paper birthday crown made by his teachers.

At dinner that evening, just us four, replete with “cheese hamburgers” alfresco at Jamy’s in Mainz, Ice Cream cake (recipe via Shutterbean) for dessert and topped off with his very own Stokke riding suitcase.

With a few friends at our home over the weekend for a Shark themed paint party. Everyone feasted on the easiest sheet pan pancakes (recipe via NY Times) and chocolate cupcakes before jetting off on a road trip to Reims literal moments after everyone left.
